       Welcome to Wavertree Nook Aquarium!

Wavertree Nook Aquarium or 'The Nook' to its regulars is a family run aquarium retailer that has provided a loyal and reliable service to our customers for over 35 years.

The Nook boasts a very impressive fish house with cold water, Tropical and Marine fish a wide variety of fish to choose from, as well as a healthy tropical plant section and both coral and invertabrate tanks housing a conglomeration of both hard and soft corals.

We also sell RO Salt Water £7.00 for 5 Gallons and plain RO water for  £3.00  per 5 gallons.

We are currently stocking live food such as bloodworms, daphnia and brine shrimp. These are restocked every Wednesday and can be reserved with just a phone call. Along with these, we stock copepods for marine tanks.

We also stock a wide range of frozen food such as Bloodworm, Daphnia, Whole Mussels, Lance Fish, Clams on the half shell and a whole lot more they are £2.40 for one pack, 3 for £6.50, 5 for £10.00 or 6 for £11.00

Our fish are picked for variety and quality, with weekly deliveries to ensure a healthy, varying stock is always available. If you can't find the fish you want, we will make every effort to source it for you upon request.

Hugh Stamper is the owner and has kept fish for over 50 years and he has passed his knowledge on to the rest of the staff so any questions or advice is available in abundance.

We are open six days a week (closed on Tuesday) open on Bank Holidays 10am  - 4pm so if you want to pop in to restock your tank, to start your first tank or even just to see fish from all round the world just come down to The Nook, and I am sure you wont be disappointed!!
